The Designers

Eve Blossom collaborated with award-winning designers Laura Guido-Clark and Michael Koch to create Lulan Artisans evocative and compelling collections. Known for their urbane color sensibilities and complex textile constructions, Guido-Clark and Koch bring a sophisticated modern sensuality to Lulan design.

Laura Guido-ClarkLaura Guido-Clark

Laura is an expert in the "skin" of consumer products - their color, material, and finish - perhaps the area of industrial textile design that requires the greatest understanding of human nature. Laura has spent her life studying the new and surprising ways human beings react to the look and feel of any given product. Her ability to forecast and translate those influences into concrete terms of color and finish has helped companies such as Samsung, Apple, Mattel, and Toyota design products that resonate with consumers and succeed in competitive markets.

Laura holds a BFA in Interior Design from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has taught classes on color and textiles at California College of Arts and UC Berkeley.

Michael Koch

Prior to starting his own firm, Michael was executive vice president and director of design at Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills from 1992 to 2002 and senior designer at Jack Lenor Larsen from 1988 to 1992.
