A shared love of quality design unites Lulan's three primary designers in their collaborations to create products of unique design, beautiful color, and exceptional quality.

Eve Blossom Eve Blossom
After earning a Master's degree in Architecture from Tulane University and practicing at Gensler and Associates in Los Angeles, Eve spent two years in Vietnam restoring French villas for corporate and government offices. Traveling throughout Southeast Asia, she discovered a passion for the hand weaving traditions of the region and realized their unparalleled talents and spirit. The creation of a sustainable market, livelihood, and wage for the weavers and their villages became a dream that eventually led to Lulan.

"There is an intimacy inherent in the form of a woven fabric, in its purpose in the home and in the way it has been created -- on one loom that one weaver establishes and returns to every day; in every line of the weft carefully placed from one side of the loom to the other. It's an honor to know these artisans, and I hope Lulan will give a louder voice, and a wider audience, to the talented artists who deserve it."

Laura Guido-Clark Laura Guido-Clark
Laura is an expert in the "skin" of consumer products - their color, material, and finish - perhaps the area of industrial textile design that requires the greatest understanding of the human heart. Laura has spent her life studying the always new and surprising ways human beings react to the look and feel of any given product, the conscious and unconscious influences that drive buying decisions. Her ability to forecast and translate those influences into concrete terms of color and finish has helped companies such as Samsung, Apple, Mattel, and Toyota design products that resonate with consumers and succeed in competitive markets.

Laura holds a BFA in Interior Design from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has taught classes on color and textiles at California College of Arts and UC Berkeley.
