The venerable Treehugger posted a great feature on the Green Shows at New York Fashion Week. Lulan’s gorgeous partnership with Luis Valenzuela was a particular hit with the Treehugger folks - can you blame them?
Here’s a cool interview that Eve did with SoCap, the Social Capital Markets organization. According to SoCap’s website, they are “a multi-platform organization dedicated to the flow of capital towards social good.” It’s fantastic that there are so many opportunities for like-minded companies to work collaboratively for social progress. Check it out!
Here’s a great video of interview Eve did with Voices of America at the Aspen Ideas Festival. According to their Wikipedia page, the Aspen Ideas Festival features “leading minds from around the world sharing and speaking on global issues.” Appropriate, then, that Lulan would be involved in such a festival!

Human trafficking, at the core of Lulan’s mission statement, has seen a dramatic rise in Haiti since the devastating earthquake in early 2010. It’s so important that we read articles like this at the Huffington Post, difficult as it may be, because there is no large-scale assistance without large-scale awareness.
Over a year after the earthquake in Haiti, and there is still much to be rebuilt. Eve writes at the Huffington Post how sustainable international partnerships can be made in the wake of disaster.
